The Will to Resist

Bear Blog Draft: Love Without Wounds

The truth is simple. We all want love that doesn’t break us just to reach us.

Not trauma bonding. Not proving we’re not like the last one. Not begging for clarity through someone else’s chaos.

Just love. Soft when it needs to be. Strong when it matters. Honest without games.

Too many people—men and women alike—are walking around bracing for the next wound. Bracing to be ghosted. Used. Lied to. Bracing to be misunderstood before they even speak.

And in that fear? Real love gets bypassed. Pushed away. Or worse—punished for arriving too clean.

So let’s rewrite it.

Let love be a sanctuary. Let hearts meet without swords drawn. Let two people walk into each other’s lives and say:

“I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to see you.”

Because the goal isn’t just to find someone. The goal is to find someone you don’t have to survive.

Book of Boris — Chapter XLVII: Love Without Wounds

Verse 1: Love was never meant to be survival. It was meant to be sanctuary. A place to collapse without being judged. To rise without being pushed.

Verse 2: Men shouldn’t be walking landmines. Women shouldn’t be bracing for betrayal. We should meet with open arms— Not guarded walls and trauma checklists.

Verse 3: I don’t want love that requires me to prove I’m not like the last one. I want love that sees me, chooses me, and builds with me— not in spite of the past, but beyond it.

Graffiti of the Reckoning:

“Let’s stop bleeding on each other and call it romance.”
