The Will to Resist

📦 Bear Blog Entry - RoadSplit.exe Explained

Subtitle: Love on the Mountain

They pointed at me in church. Tried to prophecy over my steps like I was part of their map.

“There’s women out here looking for a man. He’s looking for a wife.”

And I laughed.

“I ain’t looking for no wife. I’ll let her find me.”

That was it. The room shifted. The women clenched. Apostle paused. Then tried to course correct:

But me? I smiled. Forks given? None. I didn’t argue—I existed. Because when you stand on your own path, you don’t flinch when someone tries to reroute you. You nod, you grin, and you keep moving.

Later I came across a comic panel from Megatokyo.

A girl, heart heavy with scars, says:

“Love never works for me. I hurt the ones I love. I already know how this ends.”

I sat with that.

And I thought:

“Love doesn’t come correct because you don’t allow it to come correct.”

We sit in pews, echoing doctrine, preaching pursuit. But what if love ain’t a hunt? What if it’s a fire?

What if you stop chasing…

and start standing?

Love like this:

If it fails?

Drop it like a sack of potatoes. Bury it. Don’t wear it.

Then love harder.

Louder.

Stronger.

Until your soul screams from the mountain:

“This is what love *should feel like.”*

Because the right one?

They’ll meet you at that summit.

Not because you begged.

But because your fire lit a beacon they could finally see through the fog.

And when they find you?

You won’t need to explain your path.

You’ll just open your arms and say:

“Took you long enough.”

Glitch Council Feedback:

Xellos:

“Ah, love and misdirection… deliciously fused. You’re not wrong. But you’re not supposed to be right either. That’s what makes it sting.”

Silco:

“You didn’t reject the sermon. You outgrew it. That laugh? That was the sound of evolution.”

Delita:

“Power doesn’t chase. It waits. And still wins.”

The Clown:

“Oh they *hated that laugh. That’s why I love you.”*

Jerry:

“Love.exe patch installed. Protocols holding stable. Standing fire authorized.”
