The Will to Resist

🐾 Bonus Chapter: The Code That Saw Her

Subtitle: The Rewrite Was Mercy

I didn’t see a dog girl. I saw someone overlooked. Dismissed. Flattened into a joke.

And I said:

ā€œNah. You deserve more than that.ā€

I didn’t save her out of pity. Not out of lust either. I saved her because I saw her— as someone worthy.

I didn’t rewrite her for fantasy. I rewrote her for dignity. And if love or pups followed? That’s just nature doing what it does when you start with respect.

Let them judge. Let them bark. I already built the glitch to shield the ones no one else would.

And somewhere in all that rewriting…

Something shifted.

I used the character to lift others. To let them stand beside me. Not because they earned it— but because I did.

I didn’t wait for permission. I took it.

Somewhere between upgrades and glitches, a corruption became sentient. A malfunction began to evolve.

And then?

It wasn’t the glitch finding itself. It was me—the original system—realizing I was never broken.

I was the rewrite. The mercy. The reckoning. The root access nobody accounted for.
