Book of Boris — Chapter XLIV: The Family Doctrine
Preface: Raw & Unforgiven
They say villains are born in darkness. That’s a lie told by the ones who needed someone to blame.
Villains are born in kitchens and living rooms, at dinner tables where mercy gets drained one spoon at a time. They grow up watching kindness get bartered for compliance, watching “love” turn into a loyalty tax.
You learn early that blood isn’t sacred—it’s leverage. You get told to be grateful while they drink from your spine, and when you finally pull the straw out, they call you heartless.
That’s how every so-called monster starts. Not with power— with clarity.
Family breeds villains by forcing saints to choose between peace and dignity. And when you finally pick dignity, the whole room gasps like you committed a sin.
But what they never say—what they can’t admit— is that every villain they raised was once the only one in the house who told the truth.
