Cracks the cap. Pours one out on the curb.

This was supposed to hit.

Not perfect. Not clean.

Just… land.

Part 1 built something real.

Not hype—trust.

It said:

“Ride with me. I’ll take you somewhere—even if it hurts.”

And it did.

Part 2?

Started loading the same gun…

then never pulled the trigger.

You gave me:

• a war devil who never fully declared war
• a death devil that never arrived
• a story full of teeth… that never bit

That’s not subversion.

That’s hesitation.

And hesitation kills more stories than bad writing ever will.

I didn’t need answers to everything.

I didn’t need a happy ending.

I didn’t even need Denji to win.

I just needed the story to commit.

Because I stayed.

I read.

I watched the pieces line up.

And right when it was time to cash out—

you folded the table.

So yeah…

Pouring one out.

Not because it was trash.

But because it could’ve been more

and chose not to be.
