The Will to Resist

Dept. of Petty Affairs — Smile Doctrine

Subject: Mastery Through Restraint

I used to think if I was fast enough, I could fix everything—or ruin everything—before the world caught up. Speed was a weapon. Anger was the engine.

Then one day, the road caught me. And I realized: there’s no medal for being first to crash.

Now I just smile. Not because I don’t care— but because I finally learned how to stay in control when everything else wants me to swing.

If I joke, it’s to keep the blade sheathed. If I cut the line, it’s because someone insisted on wrapping it around my throat first.

I don’t burn people anymore. I let lessons light themselves.

Tribunal Note: Humor is pressure control. Mercy is optional. Peace is earned through pacing.

The Smile isn’t surrender—it’s containment.
