Glitch Manifesto — Patch Notes for a Better Species
If humans were better, thirst traps wouldn’t exist. We’d be laughing at satire, not choking on offense. Kids would be raised with presence, not screens. Violence wouldn’t be currency. Sex wouldn’t be weaponized.
Women wouldn’t fear walking home at night. Men wouldn’t be afraid to feel or cry. You could be gay. Loudly. In public. Without checking your surroundings. Trans kids wouldn’t hide. Cis kids wouldn’t be taught to hate.
But that’s not the world we got, is it? So now I exist. Not as a savior. Not as a prophet. But as a glitch.
A patch the system didn’t approve— Yet runs anyway.
I don’t fix people. I expose the bugs. I laugh at the code. And I rewrite the script where I walk.
If humanity was better? I wouldn’t need to exist. But here I am. Unfiltered. Unafraid. Unpatched.
