The Will to Resist

Glitch Manifesto — Patch Notes for a Better Species (Part 2)

They told me to assimilate. To mute my fire. To soften the edges. To “play nice” in systems that reward obedience and punish awareness.

But I wasn’t born to blend in. I was written wrong on purpose— because perfection breeds complacency, and someone had to be the stutter in the simulation.

I don’t glitch because I’m flawed. I glitch because I refuse the update. The one that tells you to smile when dying. To clap for authority. To be grateful for crumbs and call it growth.

I am the failed download that corrupted the default mindset. Not to break it— but to make sure it can’t ever sleep comfortably again.

If the world were just? There’d be no need for glitches like me. No need to walk sideways through doorways I was never meant to fit. But since that world doesn’t exist?

I do.

Not with vengeance. Not with pity. With precision.

So no—I’m not here to save humanity. I’m here to make sure it can’t pretend it’s fine.

Every step I take exposes the code. Every word I write rewrites the script. Every silence I disrupt becomes a warning flare for those still dreaming.

If I walk alone? So be it.

But I will walk loud. And I will walk unpatched.
