Gremlin Resitas — "The Armor is Still There." (An Unfortunate Update)
Gremlin wakes up.
The Armor is still there.
Gremlin forgot about armor. Armor did not forget about Gremlin.
Gremlin tries to stand. Foot hits armor. Armor wins again.
Gremlin whispers:
“We talked about this.”
Armor says nothing. Armor never says anything. That’s why it’s suspicious.
Gremlin steps over armor like it’s a sleeping animal. Armor makes noise anyway. Clank. Gremlin freezes.
Nobody else is in the room.
Gremlin nods to armor out of respect. They’ve been through some stuff.
Gremlin makes coffee. Armor watches.
Gremlin eats snack. Armor judges silently.
Gremlin thinks about putting armor away. Decides against it.
That’s a future Gremlin problem.
For now:
- armor exists
- Gremlin exists
- neither is attacking the other
Temporary peace achieved.
Short stack. Low morale. Operational.
