The Will to Resist

🎭 Gremlin Risitas — One-Off: Sphinx.exe Has Entered the Chat

“Sphinx of the Black Quartz, Judge My Vow!” the Gremlin bellows, perched on a keyboard like caffeine incarnate. Each slap of a key lights up another ancient glyph— until even the spell-check starts whispering in Latin.

Normal people use “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.” The Gremlin? Nah. He summons fonts. He drops that gothic line, and suddenly Times New Roman develops ethics.

“Why doth thou double-space after periods?” “BEGONE, YE UNKERNED!”

The printer coughs out parchment, smoke curling like question marks. By the end, the Gremlin’s sitting cross-legged, sipping ink like espresso, watching the letters rearrange themselves into a vow older than spell-check.

One fox jumps. One gremlin judges. One sentence resurrects the alphabet.
