Gremlin Risitas — Prayers Aren’t a Maintenance Plan
Look, I’m tired.
Humans should know better by now, but here we are — still acting like if we pray hard enough, reality will file a bug report and fix itself.
It won’t.
God isn’t your janitor. Prayer isn’t duct tape. And faith isn’t a substitute for picking up the damn trash.
People keep treating responsibility like it’s optional DLC:
“God will handle it.”
“Let go and let God.”
“Thoughts and prayers.”
Buddy — if that worked, we’d be living in Eden 2.0 by now.
Instead, what we get is the same loop: ignore the problem, spiritualize the delay, and act shocked when gravity shows up on schedule.
And yeah — biblically speaking? God doesn’t fix negligence. He floods it.
So you should probably be extremely thankful Jesus already took one for the sins, because if this were Old Testament patch notes, half of you would’ve been wiped in a hotfix for “willful incompetence.”
This isn’t rage. This is exhaustion with garnish.
I’m not mad at faith. I’m mad at people using it as a permission slip to do nothing and call it virtue.
So no — I’m not waiting for a miracle. I’m doing the work, clocking the bullshit, and laughing so I don’t go feral in the wrong direction.
Actually — scratch that.
I am a little feral.
But at least I’m honest about it.
