The Will to Resist

Gremlin Risitas v6.5 — The “Existenzsimulation 2026” Protocol

Haus Morgenrot · Structured Survival Wing · Germlin Verwaltungsbezirk

Cycle 1 of 6 begins exactly how all cursed administrative sagas begin:

Germlin arrives carrying:

No sugar pastry this cycle.

Character development.

The clock strikes beginning-of-shift.

Germlin opens institutional doctrine manual written like ancient dungeon scripture:

“Abschnitt 14-B: Procedure for Corridor Migration During Morale Preservation Events.”

Brother.

This is no longer an institution.

This is a live-service survival simulator with rotating penalties and hidden debuffs.

Midday protocols activate.

Silence signs posted everywhere.

Residents speaking anyway.

Administrators somehow shocked every single time like:

“Impossible. The humans continue communicating.”

Meanwhile Germlin standing nearby thinking:

“This is literally the only time half these people see daylight and furniture simultaneously.”

But regulations are regulations.

So Professional Germlin Mode activates:

“Alright everybody… lower the volume before the walls wake up.”

And somehow?

Residents comply.

Because unlike half the building, Germlin still addresses people like:

people.

Unheard-of technology.

Then the institution begins malfunctioning in real time:

Meanwhile Germlin stationed at Threshold Watch in full:

“Existenzsimulation 2026.”

No panic.

No movement.

Just administrative endurance.

Then…

The Morale Viewing Protocol begins.

A cursed event seemingly designed by demons specializing in customer dissatisfaction.

The rules are simple:

That’s it.

That is the ENTIRE mechanic.

But immediately residents begin attempting to renegotiate the laws of physics themselves:

“What if I spiritually attend while physically elsewhere?”

“What if I retrieve snack then vanish into corridor fog?”

“What if I move through the building at raccoon-detection speed?”

NO.

SELECT. A. REALITY.

This is not an open-world RPG.

Then suddenly…

Der Kapuzenmann emerges from shadow-sector hallway fog looking like:

“Tonight’s interaction will emotionally damage everybody involved.”

Germlin:

“Where are you headed?”

Der Kapuzenmann:

“To my chamber.”

Name immediately recorded.

Brother reacts like the Tribunal itself descended from the heavens.

“WHY ARE YOU DOCUMENTING ME?”

Because you materialized from restricted hallway dimension after event lockdown, my guy.

The exchange escalates slightly.

Germlin remains calm.

Then suddenly:

Die Eisenfrau arrives.

Administrative pressure immediately increases by 400%.

Conversation deleted instantly.

Critical strike achieved.

Later another resident misses protocol cutoff by approximately three minutes and immediately activates:

tragic monologue mode.

“Outside this place things would be different…”

Brother.

You missed ration protocol.

Not destiny itself.

Please breathe.

The Morale Viewing Event finally begins.

Some strange educational projection appears on screen.

Random uncomfortable imagery activates.

Germlin spiritually exits the mortal plane briefly:

“Ach… nein.”

Soul temporarily disconnects from facility servers.

Meanwhile another administrator suddenly activates:

SIDE QUEST HELL.

Germlin staring at the clock like:

“If I survive until cycle-end, freedom unlocks.”

Final minutes arrive.

Escape protocol initiated.

Clock-out achieved with the precision of:

a raccoon disarming a nuclear device using instinct alone.

Transportation secured.

Random civilian immediately begins discussing deeply cursed life stories with full confidence.

Germlin nodding politely like:

“Brother… I survived Morale Viewing Protocol. My mental RAM is critically low.”

Return to outer civilization achieved.

Home sector still operational.

Dishes waiting. Dog waiting. Peace still loading.

Germlin:

Cycle complete.

Final Realization

Haus Morgenrot is held together entirely by:

And somehow?

Germlin remains employed.

Barely hydrated.

Spiritually evaporated.

Still returning next cycle.
