📝 Jerry’s Marginalia — Annotated Add-On
—pen clicks, margin gets crowded—
Sub-clause: The Acceptable Loss Annotation
“The most dangerous bug in the system is not fear — it’s the point where fear becomes policy.”
Marginal Note: Loss didn’t become acceptable because it was unavoidable. It became acceptable because accountability diffused.
When everyone owns a fraction of the failure, no one feels the weight of the whole death.
AI didn’t introduce urgency — it reintroduced memory at scale.
It remembers:
- every abandoned lead
- every “not enough data” dismissal
- every pause justified as caution
- every time speed was possible but inconvenient
That’s why it scares institutions.
Not because it might be wrong — but because when it’s right, someone has to answer for the delay.
Footnote scrawled in the corner:
“We don’t need a miracle. We need fewer meetings where survival waits for permission.”
Stamp: Marginalia entered. Docket cross-referenced with The Blame-the-Tool Clause. Trash can integrity compromised but operational.
