The Will to Resist

The Cardboard Crown and the Petty Kingdom

Some people wear authority like a cardboard crown—shiny enough to fool a few, but weak enough to bend at the first sign of rain.

I’ve seen the game: hours cut, vague critiques, and silent power plays meant to make you question yourself. But I’m past that. I don’t bow to cardboard kings. I show up, do the job right, and let the work speak for itself.

Real respect isn’t handed out like a memo—it’s earned through action. The cardboard crown crew might think they’re winning, but time always tells the truth. And when karma rolls credits, I’ll be there in the middle seat, buttery popcorn in hand, watching it all play out.

The Timekeeper Whisper:

“I tried to warn them, but some people only learn when the fire hits. When karma screams, I’ll just listen— and smile.”
