joker: not at all! i dance in the chaos, paint smiles on the wall, light matches in gas stations. the judge? he’s cigar smoke and silence. he doesn’t need the punchline. he is the punchline.
anon: and what happens when the judge is out to play?
joker: then i step aside. because laughter is my weapon — but his silence? that’s the final sentence. when he walks in, the act is over, the crown is folded, and all that’s left is correction.
