am i mad? yes.

• i’m mad because you made me feel stupid for waking up every day trying to entertain you.

• i’m mad because i kept dimming my flame to make you comfortable.

• i’m mad because i lent money in good faith and got guilt instead of gratitude.

• i’m mad because you called me weird, as if fear of karma was the only reason you stayed.

• i’m mad because you couldn’t even take the joke without offense.

• i’m mad because we played angel and devil, and somehow i was the blasphemer.

but do i hate you? no.

i just wanted you to laugh with me.

i wanted you to grow, to find your peace, to stop dimming my fire when i never dimmed yours.

but since that’s all off the table—

since every spark gets smothered and every joke gets judged—

the laughter ends here.
