Weaponized Nostalgia: The Scam of “Real Men” and “Traditional Women” (Part 1)

✍️ By Boris Thuginski | The Will to Resist

Let’s cut the nonsense: The idea that “men were men” and “women were women” in some glorious, natural past? It’s fiction. Propaganda. And one hell of a sales pitch.

Today’s grifters—caveman cosplayers, tradwives, alpha bros, muscle messiahs—are selling gender like it’s a detox tea. But when you trace the history? These rigid roles weren’t natural. They were engineered. By empires, churches, fascists, and capitalists—who all needed bodies that obeyed, bred, and bled on command.

🧠 “Traditional Roles” Were Manufactured Prehistoric humans? Way more fluid and cooperative than these fake-macho myths suggest.

Even Ancient Rome and Victorian England didn’t have the cartoon gender rules we imagine.

The “man as soldier, woman as servant” model? Created during imperial expansions and militarization—because obedient men conquer and silent women stabilize.

📣 Why It’s Dangerous Now This nostalgia is a tool.

It’s used to erase women, punish queerness, silence nonconformity, and distract men from the real enemy: the systems choking them dry.

It turns confusion into control, and masculinity into a cage.

And people profit from that control. Think about that the next time someone talks about “real masculinity” or “feminine submission.”

🔥 The Truth: These gender ideals weren’t sacred. They were enforced—with laws, propaganda, and violence. So why are people rushing to chain themselves back to them now?

Because power loves nostalgia. Especially when it makes the oppressed feel safe in their own erasure.

So ask the real question: Who’s selling this dream? And who has to disappear to make it come true?
